    Dont go there .

Look at Guerreros face after facing a very average Berto.

This as onesided a fight as Floyd has had.

I dont have Guerrero as a top 5 welter.

Floyd in this one is also the naturally bigger man.

TKO if Floyd wants it in around 6 - 8.

If anything, a close win would make Canelo a favorite for their September fight and that event will become that much bigger "Floyd's going to lose, tune in".

I expect a Cotto-type win for Floyd here.

Floyd's use of his forearm/elbow for defense will be effective if Guerrero tries to rough him up like Berto on the inside.

I also see his straight right and right uppercut being a primary weapon.

We are on the same page just trying to see what Floyd fans think of this should it turn out being that kind of outcome

Floyd's "exit punch". Be it a hard, straight jab or a left hook. Whichever punch he is going to use right before moving his feet enough to avoid being held. It doesn't even need to land clean (say a left hook to the shoulder) but needs to give him just enough time and room to stay out of the clinch.

He keeps it on the outside, he dominates.

I have a feeling it will look a lot like the Hatton fight (minus the ko). Floyd will use A LOT of uppercuts. Lead rights from the outside. I expect 75% of this fight to be in the phone booth range, until Floyd can discourage Robert from just bum rush him.

All that's important is that Guerrero has next to no chance bc Floyd is a better in every category. This fight isn't worth speculating about.

I'm not sure whether there are punches from Guerrero that Mayweather should be concerned about. It's going to be more about the rough house tactics.

People complain Guerrero's a dirty fighter, yeah well he is, but he's using what he can to win the fight, just like Bernard Hopkins does.

Guerrero doesn't hit very hard. He isn't really fast with his hands or reflexes. He's just a guy with good ring IQ making the most of what he's got. You've got to admire that. Imagine how much better he would be if he had a lot of power or speed?

It's not the best fight out there for Mayweather, but I believe that Guerrero's going to bring it and make it interesting (though dirty).

jab and counter hooks if he try's to go at it like the Berto fight a fighter that's good at fighting off the back foot could set Guerrero up and walk him into some hard shots ala Hatton as someone stated above

Believe it or not , Floyd is pretty basic.
    Establish the jab.
This keeps his opponent off balance and sets EVERYTHING else up.
Then straight rights, left hooks and uppercuts.
Use the forearm and elbow to defend agains headbutts.
Go to the body every now and then.
    And dont forget angles.
    Pretty simple.
