What I don't understand Is how certain fans claim how guys like Mayweather and Jones jr don't have great legacies and claim history wont treat them well because they didn't take enough risk. But what history is this ? For example both these guys are certain First ballot hall of famer's and had their regin at a particular as the best in the sport. There is no singular all time great list, There are some fans who claim they are one of the best ever. It not like these fighters will look through the internet forum and see what people say, its not like any fans will come up to them face to face and have the guts to criticise their career. What is fact they will be hall of famer, something ever fighter would love to be in. So to say history won't treat them well ? what his history ?

History already treats Jones Jr. as a atg. He was a badass and that is he is remembered by everyone who isn't a complete hater. Floyd will be remembered as a tremendously skilled fighter but he won't be mentioned in the same categories as the atg warriors.

floyd might not be remembered as a warrior, but i guarantee you he'll be mentioned alongside the greats
