I have a question for the folks in the know on here. I have a kinda bad allergy to eggs and was not sure if it was safe for me to use whey protein shakes?

I currently use Maximuscle Promax which says that it is not made from egg but other protein shake brands do not have any info on the matter on the tubs. So am I safe using the other brands or should I keep away from them?

I was going to buy a tub and just try a little bit to see how I reacted.

No idea what brand you are talking about, but you can contact the company and ask through email or phone.

What does whey protein have to do with eggs? Read the labels, and as long as you trust the company, you should be fine.

As long as they don't contain eggs, the word "whey protein" kinda implies they shouldn't but check the label if you're unsure :)

A quick search confirms that the proteins likely causing egg allergy are not found in cow milk. Likely. If you die it's not my fault :D

No correlation between the two I would imagine.

I suggest looking at the nutritional info of whichever whey protein container and checking out the ingredients of them to see if there is anything that might make you feel sick or not.
