Shouldn't have put Morales in the poll, he always seems to win it.

    Hearns against Leonard too.

Morales and Vitali were tough choices to make, but I think Morales win was over an inferior boxer, albiet a superior puncher.

I voted Vitali b/c he fought on thru the cuts, was well ahead on the cards, and IMO would have pulled of his own KO win in the coming rounds.

Voted Morales vs Maidana since Marquez and Castillo actually won those fights.

Morales did good on the second Pac fight.

Before I clicked on the thread the first fight that popped in my head was Lara-Williams. But from the list I go with Vitali Klitschko.

Vitali - Lewis (though it was as much to me as Lewis being poor)

Haye - Wlad (I came out of the bout respecting Haye a lot more than I had)

Pacquiao - Marquez (I thought Pacquiao fought well despite his loss)

:patsch Oh, you are right, I didn't even think of that one! Lara was very impressive in his loss while Paul didn't impress as the winner.

Malinagi-Cotto was the first to pop in my head, but all on that list were great.

    I went with Klit-Lewis

Castillo. He went from being a normal titleholder to an instant ATG that makes Mayweather's resume look good otherwise, it would have to be accepted that a B+ fighter arguably beat Floyd.

    Some good selections here.

I went with Vitali - Lewis

    One could also have nominated

    Leonard - Duran I
    Arguello - Pryor I
    Holyfield - Bowe I
    Barrera - Morales I

Even tho this is not a high profile fight but at least not to long ago,Soto-Karass pushing through being badly cut and outboxed against mike jones in the rematch is a worthy mention. The guy was all heart and took some hellacious body shots.

  14. There's plenty that would go ahead of Vitali vs Lewis.

    Such as.....

    Leonard vs Duran
    Hearns vs Leonard
    Duran vs Hagler
    Mugabi vs Hagler
    Watson vs Eubank II :)-()
Morales vs Barrera II & III
    Barrera vs Morales I
    Marquez vs Pacquiao II
    Holyfield vs Bowe I

    and many more.......
