Im starting to realise this very quickly, they all reside on this site. Its funny and ridiculous, because ive seen some great posters on here, but some americans are really bitter and have a super complex about European fighters.

 

I´d rate Kovalev´s chin as average. But he has patience and timing and good boxing skills and that goes a long way to protect a chin.

 

The logic you are applying stands for all boxers though.

yep, had to rewind it myself to see if he was hurt or just stumbled. Kov walked onto a jab, not a right hand, and it hurt him for a second. Kov came straight back at Hops though so his head was clear.

i've got question marks against his chin now. i'm not thinking a big puncher here, just a good one, could get him out of there. at the very least drop him hard.

should be interesting when he gets hit with a good one in future. but for now, he's the champ in the division, not that bone-head Stevenson.
