Headlining at the Hilton Carillon in Saint Pete, FL the Friday before Halloween. Eight rounds scheduled at cruiserweight. Boone is still trucking at 44, two victories away from leveling out to a .500 mark with a current record of 24-26-6 (13). Of course, those who know their boxing realize that a winning percentage of less than 43% and paltry stoppage rate of 23% belies the fact that Boone is a tough, capable and dangerous fighter - or at least was in his pomp, from about 2005-2014, during which stretch he upset the undefeated Adonis Stevenson via KO and gave scares of a similar fate to both Andre Ward and Sergey Kovalev. I've not kept up with much of his career in the last decade but he's 5-5-2 in that span, keeping to his normal distribution. Haddabah is more the unknown quantity here - a 29 year old Saint Petersburg native who is 14-0 with a dozen knockouts but on paper taking a big step up in class here. Probably his biggest to date has been over Colombian southpaw glass cannon Alex David "El Príncipe" Therán Millares. Haddabah stopped him in 2 rounds, but that was Therán's ninth consecutive loss and seventh by stoppage in that run, so take it with a grain of salt. Haddabah will have an 8½" advantage in height over Boone.
