In 2004, Bernard Dunne vs Naz Hamed.. who wins?

    Dunne almost got beaten at European level (Voronin had him all over the place) and then got an 80 second hiding at the hands of Martinez. After that he got a 3 round pummelling by Poonsawat. He beat Cordoba in a real struggle and fair play to him for that, but I think Egan would be able to mix it at a higher level than Dunne was able to mix it at.

    Of course its speculation, as it hasn't happened already. That is the definition of speculation.

    Thanks for the recap Lirva. Yes it's specualation so why state it like it's fact? You don't know if Egan has a crap chin or if his power would be anything special in the pros so it's impossible to say at what level he could mix at. See my previous example, Michael Carruth, Olympic gold medalist who had an average pro career. Maybe Egan's decision to stay amateur should be enough of an indication that he thinks he is better at that than he would be as a pro.
