In 2005, many posters thought that Toney could beat Vitali Klitschko....

Well, Vitali retired in 2004, and since that he couldn't make it through training camp, let alone any real opponent.

So technically it means also that in 2005 he couldn't beat James Toney ;-)

Well, Sam Peter hadn't beat anyone that could compare to James Toney and then they fought and he beat him.

I remember the nuthuggers here saying Toney would Unify the Division. How wrong they turned out to be as his only decent win was against Holyfield and then had 2 steroid suspensions. Toney was a bust at Heavyweight for all the hype he had.

He beat Ruiz's ass, and I doubt your boyfriend Vitali could get through Ruiz without complaining of some injury like the ****** that he is.

With the help of roids. If he needs roids to beat Ruiz there is nothing that could help him against Vitali.

He beat him the 2nd time, not the first time.

dude toney use to be middleweight, if he did use roids then that doesn't make him have an advantage over his opponents.

he was fat out of shaped, thats why many people were wrong..i mean if toney had focus just like when he wa against holyfield he would have had a chance

At the time maybe a few thought that Toney could win but not now. Vitali has some heavyhands and a huge reach advantage. Vitali by late round stoppage

Never thought for a minute he could, Toney ducked that fight for a reason despite all the trash talks and money was NOT the only thing. Vitali would've whopped his ass, if Rahman and Toney were tough then Vitali will be a nightmare.

Toney couldn't have beaten Vitali but Vitali wouldn't have beaten Toney either, because he couldn't have beaten training camp first in order to get to the ring to face Toney.
