He's better overall than Wlad but I don't think he surpasses Wlad as a heavyweight personally. He's got better names but I do think completely locking down a whole era for over a decade or however long his reign was has to count for something.

That and Wlad got 69 fights. Usyk only 23. That’s literally 3 times as many as Usyk.

Fighting 69 times got to count for something as well. Every time a fighter gets in the ring he needs to put in a performance again and he can get beat, hurt, knocked out etc.

Every kid can figure out that fighting over 60 men is tougher then fighting about 20.

I've seen all of Vlad's fights. The first 30 are an early 20's gold medal winning super athlete OBLITERATING guys (save the Purrity loss) who don't hold a candle to Usyk's WBSS run opponents. The number of fights is not relevant. Quality is everything.

If you want to see some scary KO's in 1 or 2 rounds, watch the first half of Vlad's career. They're typical cab driver style journeymen.

Ok quality is everything you say. Fury and Joshua are quality I would say. Where do you rank those two all time?

Quality and quantity matter. Even beating top 10 fighters has value, you can't just ignore it, and focus on 3 wins out of 69 fights, thats cherry picking and completely unfair.

People will be calling him the goat until we get someone as big as Usyk that starts at heavyweight instead of cruiserweight. And then reality will set in when we look back at this era and realize how many fights Usyk missed out on. He beat 4 heavyweights

David Surov will surpass Usyk. Mark my words

It will all depend how he finishes... I'd like to see him snag the Australian and the 20 year old on the resume and then its mind blowing

A guy that has had 8 fights at HW, 3 of them being rematches, cant be the GOAT HW.

The whole "globalized" sport thing is pretty funny too when you consider that 4 of Usyks 5 HW opponents are from one country.
