I cant wait!Makes you realise how much harder it is for EU fighters to gain respect on the world scene that it MAYBE takes #1 and 2 p4p to finally gain some respect.

    Neither would pass Pacquiao.

Surely Hatton would be number 1 if he beat Mayweather.

Pac has had an unimpressive year however. Hatton will drop from anywhere near the top 15 due to how bad he's going to be dominated.

A close win over Kessler just secure's Calzaghe top 3, but a total domination, as against Lacy, you can make a case for the 2nd spot until Pac does something really impressive, such as beating Gumzna or Marquez.

No, he'd be top 3 at best, then Pac moves to #1.

However, count on Hatton to be brutally destroyed.

Want to have a friendly bet on that?

  7. Don't get your hopes up dude, Calzaghe should decision Kessler, but it's hard to see Ricky beating Floyd as much as i would like to see it, i don't see it happening:-(

Hatton technically shouldn't even be ranked in the top 10, he's good, but not a true elite, very very flawed. But by his Tszyu victory, and the fact that he has yet to lose on paper, I can accept Hatton at #9, until Floyd thrashes him.

Kessler ought to be lower top 10 also, he's fantastic.

By the time Bernard got Winky and Tarver, they were nothing more than big names, because they both looked terrible, especially Wright(Tarver was just average to begin with).

Realistically though, the Kostya Tszyu win is what Hatton is still ranked on, because he's been less than impressive since.

He'd definatly be top3, id say top2 ahead of Pac as he has a number of losses on his record and has only fought Shot-fighteres in his last few fights.

Anyone who thinks Calzaghe isnt top3 doesnt know much about Calzaghe's career at all.

Sure, but you're dealing with a Hatton fan who really thinks Hatton is some type of phenominal elite, which he isn't.

Hatton in all reality is in the same boat as Kelly Pavlik, very good, but B+ in ability at the end of the day.

And Floyd, Bernard and Roy all had unimpressive years as well when on top of the P4P pedestal. For the most part, you have to lose to move down the list.

thats dumb....he would have beaten the P4P number 3 and the P4P number one in his own backyard at the higher weight division. Its better than Pacman going to UK and beating Hatton at 140 due to Mayweather being regarded as the best in the world
