You say Hatton isn't elite but we're assuming for this thread that he beats Mayweather. So Hatton isn't elite but beats Mayweather (P4P number 1) and Zoo (P4P number 3 at the time) while Calzaghe is elite, super talented and whatever else you'd like to call him and all he can do is defend his wbo title or 10 years and beat lacy and possibly kessler? Maybe Joe knows something you don't? Anyway, it doesn't sound like Calzaghe should be above Hatton to me! By the way I'm not a Hatton fan. In fact I always support his opponent. I hate the way Hatton holds all the time like Klitschko and I dislike his blatant ducking of Witter.
Hatton can't and won't beat Mayweather, as you said, ducking Witter, because Witter would beat him also, rather easily at that even at this stage in his career. Kostya was caught at the right time. Hatton is an elite for 140, but at WW, he's absolutely nothing.
witter would not beat hatton. you shouldn't comment on fighters that you so obviously know **** all about. hatton won't fight witter because he only wants to fight 2 or 3 more times and wants to have a crack at the likes of pbf, oscar and cotto. hatton v witter appeals to no one in england. witter is even more boring than pbf, plus he's nowhere near as good.
This Amsterdam chap is probably actually Joe Calzaghe. That would be the only explanation for the nonsense he talks.
I'd have Witter as a slight favourite against Hatton. Hatton's had about eight years in which to find time to face Witter...if he fancied his chances. Hatton vs. Witter appeals to me.
FFS witter has already drawn against 2 total nobodies and lost to zab judah. he's boring, theres no money in the fight. hatton needs to prove himself against world greats and not a ****** like witter. he wouldn't get any respect for beating witter and it would be another 6 months of his boxing career wasted.
Of course not, Cristian Mijares is my 1 true God. Calzaghe is just a supernatural prophet. Don't **** with the best.
If he fights anyone at all after Mayweather I'll be ****ing astonished. If he does and stays at 147 then yeah, there's more impressive names for him to face. Still, one would wonder why the fat get spent five years fighting total nonentities whilst Witter was up for it wouldn't one?
