It just tells how weak US heavyweight scene is nowdays. In 80s there were atleast 100 Michael Hunter level heavyweights in US. Mike Tyson would take him out early. And Mike Tyson would have KO'd Ustinov in 2 minutes.
Yep, the rest of the world only trains in boxing, but Americans have other sports like basketball or football.
Agreed, to me he's very average, but then I'm spoiled by having exposed myself to all the sport has to offer south of 200lbs. I guess if you ONLY follow the heavyweight division and had a major fetish for fresh new American talent in the divison, I could see how you might get semi-stiff (like a quarter dose of Viagra) for Hunter.
Tyson would likely KO Ustinov in 20 seconds and would KO Hunter early too, but I disagree on another part of your post.
Is this another "if Americans aren't the best at something, there must be a reason(read "excuse") for it" thread? These threads always reek of people's opinions that never played sports One set of skills and athletic ability doesn't necessarily translate to every sport in the world...Jordan to baseball, gastineau in boxing
