    Ward beat's all of then convincingly, The ward from kovalev 2 was looking like the old ward again, he was coming off a very long lay off with only a couple of low level tune up's, kovalev 1 was his first high level fight in over 4 year's, The rust was apparent early on, he began shaking it off during the second part of the fight and picked up where he left off in the rematch, Ward's next fight would have been him at his best but he chose to call it a day, nothing left to prove, he already beat the best twice, i can understand him hanging them up and not feeling the desire to go on to do what? just keep proving what hes already proven over and over again? there's always a new up and coming fighter to take on next, at some point its time to call it a day and let the new breed have their time, He got out at a great time.
