In a PERFECT WORLD we get... Spence vs Porter, Keith vs Pacqauio... BUT

I'd really like to see Pacquiao take on Spence. I believe it's a 50/50 fight.

 

Could someone please explain to me how PBC have several top Welterweights on their books, yet they rarely (if ever) fight each other?

 

It goes like this Haymon thinks people are stupid so he books these showcase matches with what he calls top welters but really he has only 1 1/2. 1 being Spence and the 1/2 being whats left of Keith Thurman from the Collazo and Lopez fights. He is no different than Arum was in the late 2000s only booking house shows, but at least Arum would sacrifice a fighter or 2 on the alter of fanfare.

 

Spence to dangerous for pac? While I agree the fight won’t happen and while I would certainly favor Spence I think it’s reversed and pac is to dangerous for Spence. Pac is almost done but still a threat...Spence is coming into prime. The risk is Spence’s and Haymon won’t risk a prime money maker losing to an old man on his way out.
I don’t think Haymon is overly worried about what happens to pac unless he is actually wanting to do may-pac 2

 

Spence would rightly be favored to win, but Pac can still bang and I would not be shocked in the least if Spence went into survival mode from the opening round. Spence was very wary of Mikey's power. And that's a slow and cement-footed lightweight. Spence will see speed and angles of which he isn't accustomed to.

 

Not to mention they about to find a way for Marcos Maidana to enter the picture and could things further..

 

Mikey vs. Marcos would be a trip. Mikey cracked his rib in sparring.

 

It’s sad to agree with Thurman being 1/2, I’d really love us to be wrong though.

 

Looking at what's likely to happen(pac v spence) thurman should fight ugas.

 

I think it’s a stretch to far for pac and a bad move for him, and the wrong direction for the division. This is clear building up of Spence with minimal risk for financial gain. They are trying to build him to be America’s new ppv superstar, and they are getting away with it. No mention of Crawford after mikey gave the game away, only an opinion, Iam barely bothered if Iam right or wrong before anyone wants to try’s to force their opinion.

 

In a perfect world we'd have Crawford and Spence taking fights between Porter and Thurman and then facing each other imo.

 

Actually unfair to call pac minimal risk, not as big a risk as fighting crawford

The fact that Spence came to Sheffield to take on Brook,tells me it's not him avoiding anyone,Thurman a guy I always respected has ducked Spence big time and still won't mention his name lol.
Porter is the weakest champ in God knows how long?
