At least against other good fighters?

I was just watching his fight vs Conor and realized how much he hides behind the rule that you can't punch the back of the head. It's exposed the entire time. There's a lot of moments where he's just holding on and making sure it's the only part of the head exposed. In a real fight he'd get his skull pounded to dust with elbows, knees and punches.

In a real fight he wouldn't be exposing his head, or have backup with him.

yeah but he’s leaving his head exposed knowing the rules dont allow conor to do that. under no holds bar mma khabib tucks his head underneath his arm or works his way up to clinch level and sweeps.

even in early ufc back of the head was legal and a lot of guys still fell victim to wrestling.

everyone should do some form of grappling for street defense.

i don’t care if its judo, wrestling, bjj , or even like pro wrestling simple wrist locks or learning how leg subs work from youtube.

A basic understanding of holds and clinch grappling could save your life

there was a nurse in the early 2000s who killed a hitman with her barehands . The hitman armed with hammer 190lb and a former marine, he got bested by old chubby nurse who took a few grappling courses and she choked him to death via rnc.

If by street fight we mean the potential for sucker punches, weapons, other people showing up and joining in etc its hard to say because its such a volatile unpredictable environment, and wrestling isnt an ideal approach for obvious reasons.

If we are talking an unarmed one on one fight to the death not sure theres anyone on the planet near his size who could have beaten him. Same with Islam now although hes maybe not quite as untouchable as Khabib was.
