    Kick his ass!

There isn't much advice you can get without info on your opponent.

    Good luck.

I advice you to punch him in the face. Also, avoid being punched in the face yourself.

Why are you sparring cats? Yeah they have great reflexes and they are good at biting but really you should be sparring humans if you're fighting humans, if you're planning on fighting cats then disregard this post.

If you can't remember how you did, I think it's safe to assume you probably didn't do so hot... :nut ;)

I don't think so necessarily, you were probably full of adrenaline so when that happens you lose your sense of time and don't remember things. To perform well though you really need to be relaxed, adrenaline tires you out. It'll get easier with time.

I dunno, maybe it's different with you.
Getting hit means i screwed up. And if i can't remember what i was doing from being hit... well...

My town has two gyms that compete with each other. A sparring match between the two will result in a gym war.

True! Well I sparred with 2 different guys last night, 2 rounds each. The first guy I sparred with, I was nervous coz it was my first time to be in an event such as this. Well what I remember was that I almost knocked him down twice. The second guy I sparred with was taller than me, so I was closing the gap on him. I couldnt tell if my punches were hitting his head but I remember that I always hit him on the body. Afterwards, people were saying how much I have improved and all. Good experience, because in 2 weeks I will be having my first ever match. This was sort of like a tune up. Hopefully I can upload the videos over here.

If you make mistakes, now is the time to do so, its what sparring can be used for, like any other training, so what if he catches you clean when you were being reckless, better now than in a fight...basically, learn from it and improve
