In all honesty, how does this qualify as a sanctioned fight on Boxrec?

Just two guys. With a fellow in a bow tie who doesn't issue eight counts (when a boxer is hurt) and just waits for the guy until he's ready to go again.

Fights where cornermen can lounge on the top rope during a round.

Fights where there is a wooden chair where a judge would 'probably" sit on the opposite side of the ring ... but no one is sitting there.

I would just like to hear from the "record keepers" at Boxrec how THIS was a real fight that belongs on their pro logs ... but regular three-minute-round gym fights ... where no one is wearing headgear ... and where fights are paused and hurt boxers are allowed to wait until they're ready to go again (like this one) ... don't show up, and are considered sparring sessions.

Maybe it happens more in Europe.
But I have seen quite a few.

Here is Manuel Charr's last "fight."

It didn't appear on a boxing card. There were no other fights. Just these two guys. Charr and Seferi

In a ring. In a gym. On some Wednesday a little more than a year ago.

Were there judges, because none are listed? (Not that there was any need for them.)

Seferi's trainer (on the right side of the screen) is standing there with his arms draped over the ropes for the first minute of the first round, like people do during normal sparring.

Charr's trainer tries to put in what appears to be a kitchen chair between rounds and Charr "poo poos" the idea.

Seferi gets hit with a hard punch in the second and they stop so he can recover, like they do in sparring.

No count is issued by the guy playing the "ref." He just waits until Seferi can continue. Then he waves them together and they touch gloves and continue.

In all seriousness, how is this just not a sparring session?

Is it because there is a guy with a bow tie on in the ring with them? Because he isn't doing anything but walking in circles.

There is actually a "promoter" listed on boxrec.

But there are like 12 people in the room, including the cornermen, the fighters AND the 'ref.'

Were tickets actually sold? I can't believe there were. There are more people mulling around on a Monday afternoon at any fitness center or gym in the US. than are in attendance here.

If this bout is a real fight on Boxrec (and it is listed there), then every professional heavyweight should have about 600 more pro "fights" on their boxrec log.

Hell, Fury and Usyk should have a good 30 or 40 pro fights added to their records just during their current camps.

Does anyone know a person or people who are with Boxrec? If so, how does this qualify as a pro fight on either of their pro records? Honestly? Does Boxrec have some criteria for what qualifies as a pro fight? Because pro boxers do the stuff in this video ALL the time. And it isn't on their records.

seferi's brother had a pretty bs fight with fury.. according to wikipedia their dad was a pro wrestler. appears they bring that level of realism to boxing.
