True, but he got this one pretty spot on.
I don't agree with him saying that Andrade would KO Pavlik though. Andrade is hopeless and would get beaten by Taylor and Pavlik. I think he'd have a better chance against Pavlik than Taylor though.

 

While not 30 times better, his defence is better than Taylor's, and he seems a more focussed fighter as well.
I'd tip Mundine against Pavlik if they were to fight, and if Mundine is on song, the fight will not even be close (on the cards).

 

Andreas has great offence, he fights this weekend, i see him being a world champ oneday.

 

Did you see Pavlik hit the pads before he walked out? Id say Pavlik is a lot faster than most boxers.

 

Not really, sure his offence is better than his defence but thats only because his defence is non existent.

He also lacks precision with his punches and has crappy combo's.

He does have a monster chin though, and a big heart and will keep coming at you all the time. This is the only thing that will make his somewhat dangerous to his opposition.

I didn't. I actually got to the pub a little late and missed the 2nd round.

His speed wouldn't be a problem for Mundine though, because Mundine kills him in that department.

 

I have no idea, I haven't seen his opponent nor do I know who he is fighting.

 

I dont agree, Taylor looked super fast IMO, maybe as fast or faster than Mundine. Yes ill agree Mundine has a fast first punch (roy jones styles) but i dont think he would throw combos as fast a Taylor.

Maybe we will never know, but we do know when Mundine steps up in class...he loses.

Yeah he is pretty quick but i was more impressed with how dam hard his jab was.

I dont think Pavlik will be around too long as champ.

All I know with Taylor is...JC would tear him a new arsehole. Taylor would have to be clicked on every second of the fight.

 

In answering the original question, i would support Mundine against a fighter like Winky Wright or BHop on a world stage..........however, i still think the blokes a tosser.
