That's true so Mayweather was regarded as the better technician. Now on to accomplishments.

Both retired undefeated. Both had good wins.

Yeah. I asked that question and then quickly realised why I had him on ignore last time so withdrew his opportunity to explain his weird Calzaghe obsession on remembrance of how boring it is to go round in circles with someone who isn't looking to respond in way that even resembles sincerity.

There's no way that Joe matches Floyd on ability.

You high? Calzaghe is at least 5 levels behind Money Mayweather in skills, and that goes for Pedquiao as well. Pacquiao AND Calzaghe are at least 5 lvls below.

Calzaghe and Mayweather and Pacquaio are all either A * level or A level. All elite all time greats.

Would Calzaghe have ever struggled with a fighter of Maidana or Castillo's level, definitely not.

He struggled with a 43 year old Hopkins, many say he lost that fight too.

probably the best 43 year old that ever lived who went on after that fight to stay at the top for years later and beat Pavlik, Pascal Cloud and unify world titles.

Bit different having a close fight with Hopkins to having a close fight with someone like Maidana who lost every freaking round to Devon Alexander! and has losses to Kotelnik and Khan  ANY version of Calzaghe would have won every round against a Maidana level of fighter.

Joe did not have the technical ability of Floyd Mayweather.

    Anybody can see that.

Joe struggled with Robin Reid and Sakio Bika, and was dropped by guys like Kabary Salem and Byron Mitchell.

    He wasn't perfect.

He didn't always turn in Lacy type performances.

    Floyd was on another level.

Maidana was a changed man and was so good at that weight! And he won every fight vs Maidana AND Castillo. There were no losses in there.

He got knocked down by a 43 year old man who no offense couldn't break a potato chip with his hands at that age!

Hopkins was so over the hill at that point.

Anybody could see Joe was outstanding technically so I have no idea why you are lying.

I just happened to watch the Reid fight the other day, I gave Reid 3 rounds. And Reid was a tough strong good fighter.

They are both great fighters, you are just blinded by your hate for Calzaghe.

Calzaghe is decent, he's just no Floyd. Not even close, no one is!

Floyd would be an S Tier character in a fighting game

    Calzaghe - A tier

    Below Floyd but very respectable!

Madaina was a tough stylistic match up for an ageing Floyd at WW.

Again, Joe struggled with guys like Reid when he was in his late 20's.
