In an ideal world, would you like the Pac vs Floyd fight now or later?

Would you rather see a pac vs Mayweather fight next up, or would you rather see them both fight one more fight before facing each other? For me, Pac didnt look amazing in his last fight and im sure that if this fight happened next then an alibi is ready. What would you like to see?

Next. No need for both to get longer in the tooth than they already are

I agree but i have a feeling that when floyd beats him, people will have the excuse of Manny was shot/old/losing or whatever. Either way floyd wont get any credibility.

So you think he should wait even longer to get more old/shot?

It should have happened years ago anyway

Only if Pac fights a credible challenge and dominates then i think the fight could bring back the attention it once had

Well Pac just came off a pretty impressive win and showed pretty good hand and foot speed, so why wait any longer?

I dont think anything will bring back the attention it once had. Pac's invincible aura of 09 has gone forever.

Basically the longer it waits the more meaningless it becomes.

Either way Mayweather can't win anymore, in terms of how much credit he gets.

In the minds of some people on here, if he wins then he beat a "faded version of Pacquiao" and it proves nothing except how much of a coward he is for deliberately waiting until Pacquiao's skills declined to take the fight and every jab that Pac lands will be proof of how "if he still had the speed he did 4 years ago that punch would have dropped him"

So even though Pacquiao is probably less dangerous than he was he actually has less incentive to take the fight than he did in 09 in my opinion. In 09 it was debatable who was the bigger draw, now Floyd is coming off an easy win in one of the biggest super-fights ever, whereas Pacquiao is coming off a win over a B class brawler and 2 losses. Floyd doesn't need this fight anymore, seeing as it can no longer do anything to enhance his reputation - in the minds of certain fans at least

the longer we go without them fighting, the more it favours floyd, so if it does happen it wont happen next thats for sure.

Manny already has an April 12th date set. Clear duck to me especially since Manny is broke. Pure joke since Floyd doesn't have an opponent at the moment.

Ideal world... Mayweather would have already UD/TKO'd Pac in '09.
