Bute and Ward only each other to fall back on. Ward has beaten an unwell version of Kessler who beat Froch, now neither of those 2 have a resume comparable to Kessler or Eubank who Calzaghe beat, in fact their resumes at this time are similar in level to Lacys or Mitchells and Calzaghe still has further depth and many other top 10 world class names, 21 SMW title defences where 15 out of those 22 are against top 10 SMWs and won all of the world titles[/quote] I dont argue Calzaghes accomplishments, or where Bute or Ward are now. I can just see them MAYBE become bigger. There is a difference. Does it happen? I dont know, but they can fight for many years to come, and improve there resumes.
it was a joke you dumb ass. here's bailey's next argument already posted for everyone. This content is protected
I know it was. I guess sarcasm is lost on you. Thats why I did the bit with Ottke/Tarver. Nevermind. I know a poster has been dismantled when they come off the subject and focus on the poster rather than the boxing. Always a pleasure to have Kmac make an ESB appearance :good
For your information: Head to head Joe would probably outslap Ward. Real boxing fans understand this.
Calzaghe pretty much cleaned out the division while active. Calzaghe haters have the odd idea that Joe was obligied to jump in weight divisions.
he got beat by carl thompson twice. i cheered for him. strangely at that point in boxing most people were cheering him despite eubank not being most popular boxer in uk previously. if you think that version of Eubank was anywhere near his peak and fighting with only 2 weeks training then you are just trying to ignore the truth. i agree with the poster for said about Calzaghe and Bute, could end up having similar careers if Bute can prove like Calzaghe that he really was under premoted and can shed that image of Joke champ given by real boxing fans.
no Jones Junior was shot long before Calzaghe fought him. Eubank was shot when he fought Steve Collins ffs. you guys would say anything. best wins against Hopkins and Kessler. one was 43 and disputable and other was against an oppponent with padded record.
