Was there just a lot more in-fighting in the 20’s and earlier than there is now. I’m watching Dempsey vs Brennan right now. And every exchange ends up with a clinch and in-fighting. This happens in some fights today as well, but it feels like I see it happen in a lot of these early classic fights. Was it just more common?
