This is the correct answer. Fury facing Rogan was fine as he wasn't running around calling himself a world champ at the time. That said, I don't have any particular problem with Pulev or Stiverne as potential opponents for Joshua.

I see both sides here. For an 18th fight, Stiverne or - even better - Pulev is decent progress, nothing wrong with that at all. The problem stems from the fact AJ has a world title now though. But if you look through the IBF rankings there isn't exactly a hotbed of people actually available (Parker will be next year) for him to fight.

The main issue people have is obviously the whole Hearn propaganda machine. No one likes it but it isn't going away I'm afraid.

 

I'd line up Wilder ASAP if I were Eddie. I think AJ starches him and it will do a lot to answer a lot of his critics without putting him in too much danger.

As an aside is our old friend Solaris that whack job who had the Joshua tattoo done on his leg before the Charles Martin fight? I think he might be.
