In general, is it allowed to score a round 10-8 with no knockdown or foul?

    Boxing does mean 'the art of hitting and not being hit' though, so id say the reason that a KO gives you an instant wiin is because a KOd fighter cant hit you, so you have put the bout beyond the possibilty of a wiin in your oponents favor!! Not that its about brute force!!!

    You never seemed to comment on my comment about fighters deserving their 9 if they show immense courage and hart despite eing all but KOd.

    I wasnt tryin' to argue with you BTW, or challenge your opinion, just simply wanted your opinion on what i stated!!!

    Anyone see RJJ Vs Richard Hall? Their was a handfull of 10-8 rounds in that fight without KD's, because of the sheer dominance of the fight, it was ridiculous :lol:

    Oh, no i don't agree there. It's fantastic when a fighter shows great heart, but if you get pummeled, you don't deserve to lose the round by the same margin that you just barely outboxed your opponent in a very light round earlier.

    How would that happen? Let's say a fighter wins a round in which he gets knocked down, wouldn't that make it a 9-9 round instead?
