In my opinion it was Kell Brook round 2 - He hit him with 2 or 3 uppercuts that would knock many fighters down and landed some terrific hooks and straight rights as well.
Ohhh I completely forgot about Ouma, i never watched it live but he was arguably winning before the stoppage
Brook in every round he uppercutted his socialist chin into the top of his skull. This content is protected Canelo also almost gave this bum a lobotomy with the uppercuts. This content is protected His fans be saying stupid **** like, "GGG was never hurt". Look at this bums face in the thumb nail. He was temporarily dead. His eyes were void of shine.
Yes, I thought he was too. Which made me realize GGG was breaking him down while arguably losing rounds. But how can you score what you can’t see!
Not enough to drag up his performance from the rest of that fight. Hence the 90% of scorers voting in GGG's favour (30% of the other 7% were Canelos team, and the remaining 70% of that 10% ruled a draw)
Absolutely it was Kell Brook imo,put into perspective prior to that I don’t remember him losing a round under Abel Sanchez. The buzz on the radio for that fight was mental as nobody expected Brook to go after him the way he did,Froch said Golovkins hurt after that mega uppercut.
I thought he won the 12th as well so I was confused when I heard Mosley say Canelo was running away in the last few rounds like he didn’t want to be there? I always knew Canelo would mark Golovkin up more than Jacobs and counter better but I never expected Canelo to be the guy with the eye catching quality shots ie that one where the commentators said Canelo started that punch down by his toes lol.
I honestly think the most worried GGG has been in a fight was against Brook. He looked stunned in his corner after the 1st round. To this date, he's probably the most skillful guy GGG has fought.
Most dangerous perhaps and great skills but as Golovkin told us he was no Middleweight showing me that I don’t understand weight classes and sizes as Brook didn’t look much smaller than Golovkin just as Canelo didn’t in their fight though he does now, looks more like a welterw
Brook is too big for 147....and probably too small for 160. In fact maybe not too small, just not experienced enough. He was actually at the max of 176 during the 30 day weigh in. When Brook couldn't unify within 6-12 months of beating Porter, in hindsight he should have moved up.
