:deal Yea I agree also. JMM lived his best years behind Barrera's and Morales's shadows, but he was always their equal. 122-130 JMM was a beast. He reminded me of a bigger version of Finito Lopez, but Lopez still had a more refined offense and better boxing overall than JMM. Lopez is the prototype of all of Beristein's fighters. Zaragosa not far behind.
Torrecampo is an underrated Ring IQ genius. This guy could hit you with a vicious groin shot and make your head bounce off the canvas so hard you can't collect yourself enough to make the count in any shape to continue.
don't understand spanish but they seem more than just civil to each other. have they settled their differences? it always strikes me odd when to classy gentleman fighters can't get along and take things personal. both fighters are the epitome of class and other opponents seem to have nothing but nice words for them. reminds me of mosley and forrest. both fighters seem to just be class, and yet even after their two fights you can still hear mosley or forrest talk less than favorable of each other.
All one has to do to see how badass a prime Morales was is to realise that out of MAB twice Miguel Cotto Hoya JMM twice Ricky Hatton Antonio Margarito Joshua Clottey That a Morales near the end of his prime is the only person to beat Pac in the last decade..... Morales is a badass.
Their second fight wasnt bad and did have drama in it.... in spades. Morales was giving Pac hell before his legs left him.
