    setanta is back on by the looks of it, watchin baseball on freeview now

    The first fight Setanta showed to my knowledge was Hopkins-Eastman and Witter-Ndou back in Feb '05.

    ESPN America has nothing to do with Setanta, apart from it being sold in the setanta pack. With setanta gone, they'll broadcast the channel for free presumably until the new ESPN channel packages are st up.

    It was actually the fans that killed on-digital (so to speak)

    There was chipped tv smart card thingys available all over the place (you know, blokes down the pub sold them etc) that once you bought from whoever you didnt need to subscribe coz they got you all the channels for free and they were no longer able to pay their way. Kinda ironic how it comes back to bite you in the bum eh lol

    Same with setanta. How many people will admit it watching the fights without a pay description through peer 2 peer. I personally liekd setanta....9.99 was a steal as you weren't tied down and could pick the months you wanted to follow
