In my estimation, Canelo has had 7 "serious" fights and is 3-3-1 in them

Makes sense to consider it a top fight. It was for the lineal middle weight championship. The way I saw that fight though was Cotto taking advantage of a past prime no knee Martinez, and Canelo taking advantage of a past prime blown up welter in Cotto. Still a step above Trout though and still counts as a top fight.

    You mean, like, today?

Michael Conlan fought Ionut Baluta. The scores were 115-114, 117-112, and 114-114.
    * The first judge had it 6 rounds Conlan, 5 rounds Baluta, 1 even. (115-114)
    * The second judge had it 8 rounds Conlan, 3 rounds Baluta, 1 even. (117-112)
    * The third judge had it six rounds a piece. (114-114)

Sunny Edwards fought Moruti Mthalane. The scores were 118-111. 115-113 and 120-108.
    * The first judge had it 9 rounds Edwards, 2 rounds Moruti, 1 even (118-111)
    * The second judge had it 7 round Edwards, 5 rounds Moruti.
    * Third judge had it 12 rounds Edwards.

Six cards, even rounds on three of the six.

Seems like just about every fight you watch that goes 12 has an even round on a card (or two).

If a round is so close that you cant decide who won it, its best to call it even. You can change the result of a fight by that one point. If its even its even, there will be other easier rounds to score.

Trout beat Cotto roughly 9-3 in his previous bout.

In the UK, but not in America. When was the last time a judge score an even round in USA?

Your point still stands because judges don't score even rounds in America, which is where the match was.

Robberies are pretty obvious. Of coarse i usually rewatch a fight that is important to me tell i understand my perspective of it.

When a congratulations is in order i give them, when they're not they're not. Also GGG fans did get it right, if GGG don't knock him out he will most likely get robbed, and thats what happend.

There were many levels of GGG fans getting it wrong. Lets review. First it was that Canelo would never fight him. Then it was Canelo would never fight him at 160, only at a catchweight. Then it was that GGG would knock him out. Then it was Canelo couldn't go back to the ropes or he would get hurt. Then when GGG couldn't knock him out suddenly it was because GGG was too old.

Even if you deny that Canelo won the first fight, which is fine, admittedly it was rather close and many rounds were hard to score, just the fact that Canelo went the distance and avoided getting hurt as many GGG fans predicted was a victory in it of itself. When Canelo went back to the ropes in rounds 4 and 5, this was a big moment, as it was disproving what GGG fans said. GGG fans said Canelo had to stay off the ropes, Canelo went back to the ropes, fought there for extended periods, and didn't get hurt. This action proved GGG fans wrong.

Now granted, GGG fans said a lot of things and made a lot of wild predictions about what was gonna happen. So I'm sure some did say he might get robbed if it went the distance, but lets be clear, when this fight started to be talked about, most GGG fans didn't give Canelo much of a chance to survive let alone compete or win. Canelo proved GGG fans wrong on many levels.

When was the last time any judge in the US scored any round even? Are you high?

Watch boxing matches held today in the U.S. There will be a couple like there were yesterday. (LOL)

    I'm going to bed.
