In my humble opinion Wladimir Klitschko retired too soon he still had plenty to give

thats always possible but if Wilder had him as hurt as Joshua did in the 5th before Wlad came back I dont know if Wilder would have let him off the hook like Joshua did

You ever factor Joshua is just better then wilder?

Wilder is a joke nearly got his ass knocked out by a 58 year with blood pressure issues

Wlad would use his jab and keep wilder at bay and then land that monster right hand

    Thats some hyperbole

Wilder benefits from being more explosive than Joshua and being less predictable/orthodox which plagued Wlad vs Fury

I still favor Wlad of the Joshua fight based on how well he fought and my overall opinion of Wlad compared to Wilder but Wilder would be extremely dangerous at all times Wlad could certainly be hurt and I dont think he would survive like he did vs Joshua if he was hurt

Nah... He even looked old physically. He retired at the right time.. Its a young mans game.. He's HOF bound anyway so who cares...

It was a shadow of what it used to be yet it still had Joshua almost comatozed..

    Perfection:

Perfectly timed, precise, full of snap, beautiful duck under & step back too.. Added to the aesthetics.

He was still a skilled enough to beat Wilder and possibly everyone else other than Joshua and Fury. and I think Wlad could possibly have beaten fury and a rematch, but Fury refused to give him the required rematch

But in retrospect, I think both Klitschko brothers had such high standards for themselves, they did not want to merely be in the top five or 10

After they reached the top, and attained their peak levels, they would be dominate above every other fighter, or if they could not maintain that very top position, it was time to bow about entirely

    The very best, or nothing

I think the biggest hindrance to Vladimir in his last two performances was the very noticeable decline of his reflexes which was very diminished.

He still had the power and the stamina and mobility, but he just could not pull the trigger in time to land those hooks . And those missing KO hooks were thrown over and over again against Joshua. Age caught up with Wlads reflexes in a big way

If Wlad came back out of retirement now he would destroy Wilder but then i very much doubt Wilder would fight him, im sure Finkel would be unplugging his phone and setting his email to "out of office" double time, again. I give Wilder a chance against Joshua, Joshua beat Wlad but Wlad destroys Wilder.

    Agreed.

I had no interest seeing him beating B level competitors just as he was still almost good enough. 'If' he had finished off Joshua, then he wouldn't have ever gotten the chance to avenge the Fury defeat, so at most would be looking at an easy title defence and then retirement, realistically. I don't want to see him back at all.

Looks the same to me , if not better.

What your gif doesn't show is the previous 10 rounds where Wlad didn't know his ass from his elbow against Thompson who came to the fight with a bum knee. The gif didn't show WK literally throwing and flinging Thompson to the canvas out of frustration.

The shots he threw were not full of snap either , he was reaching and charging forward like a bull on a hapless 41 year old Tony Thompson.. Wilder puts more snap on his punches than Wlad in that clip. Have a watch of Wilder's snap.. You might enjoy the aesthetics.. lol

So what you're saying is Joshua got dropped bad by a shot that had no snap (& indeed may have been even better than the ones he [WK] threw as a younger man) from a man who fought old hapless fighters? Poor Anthony...

17 fight AJ was not prime are you joking. In comparison Wlad was fighting a journeymen in his 18th fight.
