i love how the creator added kevin rooney's speech in the beginning, and the music is fantastic.

a great music choice, and the knockouts were selected pretty good.

How can someone not love Tyson as a fighter after seeing a tribute video like this?

Every time I watch Tyson highlights and those old training clips of him I'm just speechless. God damn..

Yes, loved as the most fearsome boxing specimen ever, as a young man who put in the blood, sweat and tears in training to develop nonpareil skills that allowed him to display never-before-or-since-witnessed ring feats.

The fact that Tyson crushed "old guard" titan Holmes and genuine winner Spinks the way he did proves he was the real deal, not simply the caricature bully kayoing tomato cans.

If Ali hadn't had loving parents, he would never be the stable winner he was. It is a simple fact that Tyson didn't have anybody to show his clippings to. A champion boxer is not just skills on the outside but love on the inside. Too bad Mike never had the latter. But during the glorious era when he was on his game, no man could win a shoot-out over him.

Watching videos like these makes you realize just how ****ing FAST Tyson was. Watch the Berbick KO, he's throwing 3-4 punches a second and one of the knockdowns is caused by a shot to Trevor's glove.

"Tyson was a weak hitter" my ass, most of the epic KO's I've seen from him involved splitting and circumventing people's turtle guards through sheer force and accuracy.

I dunno. Didn't say I didn't like him, just don't love him as much as others. Look I'm probably 20-25 years older than most posters here (I'm 44) and I remember the hype first hand. I remember him coming up and everyone including me thinking he was indestructible. I also remember how disappointed I was when I found out he wasn't and who in hindsight was pretty hyped up. And now that the superheavyweights have come, I also realize how much trouble he'd have with a skilled heavyweight like Lewis. I also saw both his fights against Holyfield, and I normally don't bet on fights, but I actually picked Holyfield to win, because I knew the fighters he was fighting prior to meeting Holyfield were sub-par. And honestly who never expected Mike to walk through Spinks? So in my mind, while he walked over fighters, he never really beat a Class A skilled fighter who had to balls to fight back. That to me is his shortcoming. A video, no matter how entertaining, isn't going to chance his career or accomplishments. But I still have Ring magazines with him on the cover so like I said I certainly don't hate the guy, just a little disappointed how things unfolded.

Nice video, though it's missing a lot of good footage.

What i like about the video is that you see him knock down guys with every punch in the book, short right hands, looping right hands, left hooks, uppercuts, you name it, he did it.

He lacked in the jab department, not because he didn't have a good one, but he simply lacked the size to have an imposing jab against the big guys. But outside of that, he was as complete a heavyweight as you'll find. Well, besides working on the inside.

Good tribute his punching speed is so impressive in the beginning of the vid it looks like its fast-forwarded. Its a shame his prime was so short would have been interesting to see him fight Bowe, Moorer and Foreman as well as Holyfield and Lewis earlier then he did.

I could watch Tyson vids all day long, whats the bout on the vid where he's bobbing and weaving avoiding the shots coming his way and then knocks the guy out with one punch?
