In my opinion, they should have stopped the fight around the 10th.

    I'm sorry, but when your fighter flat out says that he CANNOT SEE and is visibly demonstrating that by suddenly getting hit with every single punch thrown at him, you stop the fight and get'em next time. I thought Loew should have done the WISE thing instead of trying to put an extra pair of balls on his fighter and send him out to get hit for 3 more rounds.

    This is a hurt business, and he could have shed another year or two off Pavlik's career by letting him take that beating instead of retiring his fighter off those nasty cuts.

    I agree, But IMO Lowe was already thinking ahead too what the people of their hometown would say...

    Jack knows Pavlik's self esteem is prob very low, Had the fight been stopped because KP's vision nobody (In the know) would have held it against him, But try telling that to fan's who are used to seeing blood & gut's like Ray Mancini.

    Pavlik vision was OK....quit with the BS. That fight was no where near needing to be stopped.

    The problem was Pavlik's heart and head. I think he beats himself mentally if the fight isn't going just as planned. He has trouble adapting, and while Martinez won the fight. He won it by running, because he sure didn't box. There is difference......

    That Martinez is terrible and is going no where.:roll:

    Pavliks corner should've stopped the fight and let him save face. Angelo Dundee would've stopped the fight as soon as his fighter stated that he couldn't see. Loew is a selfish *******.

    lol did u say that martinez was horrible when u have cheater as your avatar...**** outta here...martinez at the age of 35 has made three consecutive opponents look just as horrible and by the way they were all top five fighters in there respective divisions and much younger...i like pavlik as well but the blueprint has been laid out to beat him and if faces martinez again expect the same outcome....at 154 martinez probably beats everyone in that division
