Is this actually true? I never knew that. What's the story behind that? Why didn't Oscar fight him?

Oscar is just a big MAB (left dependent), and you could argue that MAB has more skills than Oscar. Style wise Pac always beat Oscar.

Pac beats prime Oscar, while Floyd lose. I told it many times, in his book Oscar admits that he got confuse in the ring. Now imagine an unorthodox fast fighter, that has power, throws from weird angles and has fast feet and one would know that Pac beats Oscar.

When in his prime, between what years you doof? When Oscar was fighting at 154 Mayweather was at 135, and when Oscar was at 135 Mayweather was in the amateurs!:patsch:patsch:patsch

Oscar fighst from a distance unlike MAB. Oscar has a better left hook than MAB, Oscar has better footwork than MAB (trinidad fight), Oscar has a way better chin than MAB, Oscar has a better jab than MAB.

Oscar is more like Morales, both tall, lanky, don't use their height, but use distance.

You never seen a prime Oscar?

Since you mentioned a shot Morales, you forgot to add, Morales beat a green Pacquiao that does not have his favorite gloves. And did I forget to mention the cut. And also Morales has good right hand, while Oscar is left dependent. :good

He might very well have beat Mayweather and Pac.

This post gives a pretty good reason DLH loses. Kinda makes a little sense.

I have seen lots of his fights, Oscar is not good when his opponent has good foot speed. If Mosley's slower in and out style against Oscar(and his punches is easier to see) troubled Oscar, imagine what Pac would do to Oscar.

Pac will always trouble Oscar. :good

De La hoya beats Pacman and KO's Ortiz. Floyd would always have beaten Oscar. Its about styles and Floyd is a defensive genius.

    Left dependent?

Can someone post a link to DLH's fights vs:

    Charpinter
    Castillejo
    Vargas
    Mayorga
    Gatti

Where his Right was an effective and important weapon.

The Morales fight is completely meaningless as a point of comparison as Pac has improved considerably since then.

Nonetheless, I don't think any version of Pac can beat a prime Oscar.
