Oscar was a part-time fighter for years. He was drained for this fight but Pac was a blown-up super featherweight / lightweight. Like Roach said Oscar has trouble with southpaws and smaller fighters, and there is no way in hell a part time fighter was gonna beat Pacquiao.

Ask Roach if the Pacquiao that beat Hatton and Cotto would beat a prime Oscar de la Hoya, what do you think his answer would be?

prime for prime Pac beats Oscar at 130, 135, 140, or 147

    the younger Oscar gets KTFO

Yes oscar has trouble with south paws yes he has trouble with smaller fighters and yes he does have trouble cutting off the ring but he was also weight drained and well past his prime and could no longer pull the trigger.... admitted by roach all of it... do you really think they would have fought him had those factors not been in the mix? you mother ****ing right they wouldnt have and thats exactly why they havent fought Floyd suddenly a world class fighter is afraid of needles.... :-(

Mother ****er got old over night, considering how close the mayweather fight was and how dominant DLH was over Forbes you would think that way.... of course we were wrong and admit as much being men....

However most with half a ****ing brain know better than to over rate it...

pac was brilliant in that fight, dela hoya was past it. both may have made it look worse than what it is. pac should get credit for executing an almost perfect strategy, dela hoya should get a pass as he was far from his best that night.

Pac being THAT GOOD is an anomaly in boxing and makes everyone look stupid for their stupid predictions. Can't blame them for hating.

Hey guys, *******s claim Pac cant make 140 anymore despite it being only 7-9lbs away.

Yet they expect DLH who hasn't made 147 let alone 145 with ease and not be affected at all at his age.

Then on top of that, DLH weighed in lighter than Pac in the ring!

It's not Pacs fault but he still doesn't deserve full credit for DLH. He fought an old, shot, drained DLH.

no one is saying it's pac's fault...he would have been stupid to pass up that fight ($ and exposure), but at the same time, you cannot claim ODLH was anything other than a zombie

It's funny as **** when you talk about this fight all you hear is delahoya is weight drained excuses. But no one talks about manny pacquaio was a freaking LIGHTWEIGHT going up to challenge a JR MIDDLEWEIGHT @ 147 lbs.

Delahoya got his ass whooped after he thought he would have an easier time fighting a LIGHTWEIGHT instead of the welterweight top dawg @ the time ANTONIO MARGARITO:hi:

Oscar was pathetic against Floyd in 2007. It was just a continuation of going downhill against Pac.

Making weight too early. That's him and his teams **** up, pure and simple. :deal

Hey dingdong, or cockdong, whatever your name is.

    Email from the NSAC

If a fighter needs to use an IV drip to rehydrate after a weigh in or
before a fight is that legal?

Yes, this is legal as long as the IV only has normal saline solution in it.
