Oscar was tight at 154 , so fighting at 147 for the 1st time in something like 7 or 8 years was always going to be tough, and I think it just shows what a great chin and boxing skills he had not to go the way of Hatton , and although beaten wasnt beaten up like Cotto and Marg.

Pac would've beat Oscar at any weight, at any point in Oscar's career.

Oscar came down 3 pounds from his last fight while Pacquiao moved up 12. Oscar was drained, and Pac was undersized.

Mayweather didnt even make the weight ...people forget that, .....everyone says Pacman beat Mayweathers left overs.....

well dont you think MARQUEZ 2 wars with PACMAN and 1 with DIAZ ...then juping weight effected him?

Wasnt HAtton **** at Wlter against Collazo???

:deal Oscar had been part-time and in decline since Shane Mosley 2. The weight didnt help either.

The simple fact was, yes it was a very good win for Manny over a shot ATG. Like Marciano-Louis, Ali-Holmes and de la Hoya-Chavez 2.

****ing hell, can we keep this to whether Oscar was drained or not? Pac is p4p No 1 and destroying everyone in sight and that is beyond dispute, but it doesn't change the fact that Oscar looked like **** and that is what the thread is about. . .

No he didn't but you don't see me touting it as a great victory do you? You seem to think Pac beat a prime fresh Oscar which he didn't.

Weight draining affects speed stamina and power , three key elements a healthy fighter needs , to say it is irrelevant shows me someone who doesnt know sports nutrition very well.

That's fine but it still doesn't change the fact that Oscar was indeed drained when they fought and never fought again as well.

Dec. 5 2008: "No ****ing way Pac has a chance against DLH. He's just too big. A naturally large welter isn't losing to no lightweight moving up. DLH runs him over TKO2 easy game."

Dec. 7 2008-Present: "DLH was weight drained."

If you think Oscar wasn't drained you're an idiot. He had ****ing IV marks in his arms seen and mentioned by Freddie Roach!!! Nobody is saying Manny wouldn't have ****ed Oscar up anyways with the speed difference but you equate that to him NOT being drained? WTF where do they teach this kind of thinking? :rofl

Then dude comes on here and says Irrelevant like it's not the topic of the thread!! :patsch

All you really need to do is look at Oscar's body and movements to know he was drained. The man looked like a damn skeleton.

I never bought the excuses of weight drains or out of shape for most fighters. Seems like whenever a guy loses a fight and has an excuse they lost to a legend also. Before that fight the guy who was supposed to win easily was Oscar. He was the natural bigger guy. So after he lost of course there are excuses. Manny was just too quick.
