Khan's fans try to act like him beating Alexander, Malignaggi and Kotelnik is impressive, as if Floyd wouldn't have beaten them even easier.

    What is he gonna do?

He is going to run into a pull counter and bambi dancing starts straight away. I can't see how his powder puff shoe shine punches going to beat Floyd. Probably get walked down and laughed at. Punishes him so bad. Mean mugged and probably chokes him at the press conference. He don't respect his game.It would be brutal, levels to this.

his speed would have serious given floyd problems. Floyd shines against slow footed slow handed boxers

    I get it.

But the timing and speed of Floyd. He can get it. Right hand or left hook on Khan's mandible. I wouldn't be surprised if he sparks him clean..

Khan's not very good other than speed. I don't know why people think Khan, a fighter who consistently came up short against the best, would have a chance against Floyd.

If speed was the only thing you needed to beat Floyd, Floyd would have at least one loss.

Notice how when asked why they think Khan could beat Floyd, all anyone can come up with is, "speed!".

Maybe it's because speed is the only thing Khan has going for him.

Brook, Crawford and Garcia were able to time Khan, but somehow Floyd wouldn't be able to.

We'll never know that for sure now would we since Floyd never took the fight. Plenty of people thought there was no way that Canelo would ever beat GGG either, and look what happened.

With the stoppage loss to Kell Brook the other day, I think you're forgetting how much better Khan was back in 2015 when the fight was talked about. And if it was such an easy fight for Floyd and such a foregone conclusion that Khan would get KO'd by Floyd, then why did the fans want to see them fight, why did Khan win that poll that Floyd put out there asking the fans who he should fight?

The answer is because Khan was a difficult matchup for Floyd stylistically, especially that older version of Floyd who did not have KO power at that stage in his career. It would have been a great fight and many fans felt that Khan was all wrong for Floyd and would have given him his toughest test at that stage in his career. Again, Floyd was slowing down, Khan had fast hands, high activity, if Floyd don't get him out there or get him in trouble, Floyd would be in danger of losing a decision. That's why the matchup was so intriguing and why so many fans wanted to see it.

The Canelo GGG fight was very much a 50 50 on paper

    Not really the greatest comparison

Not according to most posters on here. Most predictions going into the first fight consisted of GGG brutally KOing Canelo or hurting him bad, most posters on here gave Canelo zero chance of winning, that he was gonna get beat down and destroyed by GGG. So it was definitely not seen as a 50 50 fight, GGG was the heavy favorite and Canelo surprised a lot of people by how well he boxed and how effective he was in that first match.

Since day one always thought BROOK sparks Khan. I have another Floyd sparks Khan as well. Hate or love it. It's how I see this fight. That chin is too open for Floyd.

This didn't happen because Floyd was focus on Pacquiao and made 300 million.

He did it all. There's nothing else to prove why would he give undeserving tomato khan a chance when he is doesn't need to. He would of whooped him. But really nothing to prove at that point.

The fight was talked about after he fought Pac, before he chose Berto. So he wasn't focused on Pac at that point.

And I think you'd have to say Khan was deserving that point. He was coming off five straight wins, and the performance vs Devon Alexander was particularly impressive and raised a lot of eyebrows.

He really likes to try and rewrite history. GGG was a -160 favorite, (for reference Canelo was a -400 favorite vs Kovalev).

And who was the overwhelming favorite on this forum going into Canelo GGG 1? Who did the vast majority of posters on this forum expect to win? What % of posters on here gave Canelo a chance to beat GGG prior to the first match? You know the answer, very few.

The overwhelming majority of posters in here expected and predicted GGG to not only beat Canelo, but to destroy Canelo.
