Some guys on this board should appreciate fighters and especially world champions a little bit more. Give them some credit godamn, all I hear is "that guy's a bum, this guy's a bum", but nobody thinks for a split second, how tough the **** those people are doing really is. How can anybody say that Roy Jones Jr, James Toney or even Floyd Mayweather aren't great fighters. They've all won titles in different divisions. I think every world champion should be respected. Some people are only talking about ATG here, ATG there. Come down.

Usually true, but in this case every point you have made have been thoroughly refuted. The only typical bull**** is the blind troll who comes in trying to stir up trouble only to get smacked down by the coherent commentary. Seriously, **** off.

Did you expect Roy to take a mean clean left hook like that and not even flinch? If you were to take a shot like that you would have probably not gotten up in a week.

There are no valid points to refute. Roy Jones completely dominated two future ATG's in Hopkins and Toney. Name another boxer who beat with total ease two fighters of the Hopkins/Toney caliber? There are not too many...

Roy had his share of low -level opponents, like most ATG's do. He also beat and dominated a number of very good fighters and beat John Ruiz as a natural supermiddleweight. Noone has ever gone down from HW to LHW with any kind of success, it is more than even a great athlete can handle.
