Just looking at the fights we have made and it makes great reading at this time of the year.

    Canelo/Trout
    Burns/Vazquez
    Froch/Kessler
    Donaire/Rigondeaux

    The return of Mayweather
    Garcia/Judah
    Alexander/Brook

Peterson/Holt is a nice little fight thats flown under the radar.
    Even Thurman/Zaveck has me intrigued.

    Totally **** year.

    **** bunch of fighters.

Khan, Mayweather, Haye, Hopkins, Kiltschko, Pacman are the foundation of the sport.

yea i was saying it was going to be a **** year, and i agree with primadonna those guys are the foundation of the sport who on earth are they going to be lined up against? if it was anyone substantial something would have already been announced. Boxing is in an ICU unit on life support.

    What about Kessler vs Froch..?

Its only going to be a success because of the political hype of Sky.

Its not as big as Chisora vs Haye.

2 of the 3 best super middleweights in the world fighting isn't as big as an arguably top 25 vs a top 5 or so fighter at heavyweight?

Just because there was more media due to the pre event fighting etc doesn't mean its not as big a fight. Means a lot more in actual boxing terms.

Donaire rigondeaux is a c racking fight, i would be going if i could.

Froch Kessler is a great fight.

    Burns vasquez looks very intruiging.

If Mayweather had gone with either canelo or martinez i would say the start of the year is pretty ****in decent :deal

Think we're alot better this year, last year was reasonably poor I think, much better this year especially in the UK and in the states quite a few good fights are being made

Positives from this year compared to last year:

Donaire v Rigo is one of the best fights that can be made in the sport.

Canelo fighting the his toughest opponent at 154.

Burns fighting his toughest opponent at 154.

Froch v Kessler is better than any of either's fights in 2012.

Mikey Garcia could be a special talent and is at the top of the division and seems willing to fight the best.

Golovkin is backed by HBO which probably means a good opponent when he returns on the network in June.

Prospects like Price, Fury, Frampton will all be in more competitive fights.

    Negatives:

Mayweather v Guerrero is a **** fight. Probably won't fight for the rest of 2013.

Amir Khan will not be in terribly interesting fights because of getting knocked out last year.

Cleverly won't fight anyone better than Bellew.

Quillin won't fight anyone better than N'Jikam.

2013 looks way better than 2012. Donaire v Rigo alone is a better fight than anything last year bar Pac v Marquez for me.

I'm just gutted the big showdown with Enzo Mac isn't happening, oh well I guess I will have to make do with Froch v Kessler.

lol, I think could still be on the cards but its seen to be a 'huge' British (Welsh) showdown, I dont think Cleverly is ready yet, a few more fights are needed first. ;)
