Getting so close to being past it's sell by date.
There really is no personal intrigue to this event at all, no character, no personality, no back story.
Decent fight potentially but I can also see it being a boring fight, quite close, leading to a second

Agree. it was my point regarding Pac and Mayweather both of which had a legacy leading to their overdue fight. the notable wins for Spence and Bud are people like Brook and Porter both who'd already been beaten.
I don't buy the narrative that they have to spend a load of time building it up there's very little to build on. No way in a million years does it do a million PPV unless it's under a the Heavyweight undisputed. otherwise not a chance.

This fight reminds me of Juanma Lopez and Gamboa. I am beginning to care less and less, the delay has hurt both of their stock more than a loss would. Neither are huge stars, both need a marquee fight, and yet both are timid to take the fight. A great example of why boxing has declined. In all likelihood, it would be an equivalent event to a Fury tune-up.

Mayweather Pacquiao was like 5 years too late by the time they finally met. Crawford and Spence if they don’t meet this year or early next year will be getting into the sell by date as well. Crawford is what, 35?

The fight is probably on the turn. They need to hurry up. Too many champions living in their own "I'm the best" bubble.
