I was just watching a reply and when Floyd Snr was advising Hatton in the corner he was telling him to keep his hands up and move his head, but then just before the camera changes he says ''You should'a been listening to me from day one!''

Not that im looking for excuses but we did not see ANY difference in Rickys style, NO defence, he got hit with virtually every shot landed, and then i hear Mayweather Snr saying that as if Hatton was never really trying to adapt and use the techniques Floyd taught him, come to think of it the only signs of Ricky being modified in style was on the Pads and Heavy Bag, his style in the ring and sparring never changed...

There was no 'new' Ricky Hatton im afraid to say, and it seems to me as if Ricky never really adapted what he learnt on the pads and heavy bag into the ring and when he was sparring.

yeah ricky didn't look right at all, really nervous. still i wasnt expecting that.

he should definitely retire now though.

P.S. It finally started to annoy me last night about "Ricky Hatton Ltd" when his ring entrance song was some shitty thing which dropped his name every 10 seconds. He's a good businessman but I find it a bit embarrassing. He lost his belts and credibility, but at least $12m will soothe the pain

The first knockdown punch did not look particularly heavy either.

No evidence of the jab which was the key like Morales used in the first of their fights.
I thought he looked nervous and the way he bolted from his room confirmed it for me though the commentators said he looked better than he did for the Mayweather fight.I thought it was a similar tense expression

Its caught up on him because hes been able to take alot of punishment and have a tear up in the past, he got caught with dozens of right hands against Mayweather Jr, alot of people are saying a farewell fight with Amir Khan should happen as a homecoming but personally i think, once again, Ricky would walk into too many combinations, Ok Amir isnt known for power but with the amount of punishment Ricky has taken, it would catch up and he'd eat too many combos from him unless Khan was heavily caught somewhere in the fight.

Ricky should call it a day, theres nothing more to do, he has my respect because he went and fought the 2 best P4P's while they were in their peak and at their best, he gave it all he had and i respect him for not waiting for a few years when they were past it, he fought the best and gave his best, respect to Ricky.

Exactly and if you go look at the tape you'll see Ricky's own shots had NOTHING on them at all.Go look.

I hope this doesn't mean that Hatton was ignoring any gameplan or tactical advice from Floyd Snr in order to do it his way. This may have given rise to this argument they allegedly had and the fact that Floyd was late to the arena and was nowhere to be seen afterwards aswell makes it look slightly suspicious.I'm just speculating
