    The fact many people are alluding on here that Wilder was the champ. He’s more of a paper belt holder. But yes the intros were handled appropriately

    How many clean effective punches had fury truly landed throughout the entire 12 rounds.

    The truth is about 1/100th if what his fans believe, wish and claim he landed. The vast majority of rounds were very close with very little happening.

    It's like Wilder's misses are counted against him and cut fury but fury who mostly landed in gloves and forearms are counted heavily for fury and heavily Against Wilder.

    There was very little happening, from both fury and Wilder, Wilder ended up throwing more and landed far and away the clean effective punches throughout.

    Watch with an open mindset

    Archie Moore RETAINED the LHW title against Yvon Durelle after suffering 3 KDs in the 1st round I think and came back to win by KO.
    Not sure about challengers, it'll need some one more historically knowledgeable than myself since refs were more inclined to let fights proceed back in the day and also the 3-KD rule was less prevalent.

    When Arnold Taylor challenged Romeo Anaya for the bantamweight crown, he was floored a total of 4 times (in 2 different rounds), before flattening the champion with one mighty right in the 14th round.

    Archie Moore got dropped 3 times in the 1st round against Durelle and came back to win via ko in the late rounds.

    So aside from the posters who are doing research on certain fights, there is literally ZERO historical precedence of a challenger beating a champion by decision after being floored twice? Across all weight classes and over 100 years of boxing?!?

    Doesnt that sort of suggest that a draw might not be so unreasonable? I understand some of you cant go to sleep without throwing darts at a picture of wilder, but lets be objective. Its literally never been done and yes fury looked amazing but apparently winning that fight by decision was "impossible" given the historical context.

    There were fixing to rob Gvozdyk in Canada the same night, but he got the KO. The Canadian judge had it 98-92 for Stevenson and another had him up 96-94.

    Of the top of my head nearest I can think of is Hopkins being KDd in round 1&3 v Pascal as the challenger and getting a draw. Most though Hopkins won that fight as well.
