In the history of boxing, did any challenger get dropped 2X and win a belt?

Fury is the lineal champion, which means more than that paper title wilder holds.

    1) That has nothing to do with the thread
    2) by your logic joshua has 3 paper belts and fury is the only hw champion.

Was Kelly Pavlik dropped twice against Taylor before coming back to knock him out?

Michael Moorer was dropped once by Holyfield and won the deciscion. The reason I bring this up is because Moorer was winning the round against Holyfield and two of the three judges of memory serves - scored the round even- something the judges didn’t do for Fury despite fact he won both rounds outside of the kd. Had he received the same treatment Moorer did in either round he would of won. As he should of regardless. Doesn’t matter if it ever happened before or not, and Fury is the Lineal champ.

This is a big issue in modern boxing. A KD these days translates into an automatic 10-8. But often that can lead to a 3 point swing, instead of 1 extra point to them man who scored the KD.

As for the question, I can't think of a single instance.

The closest I can think of was when Hopkins challenged Pascal, was dropped twice early, and went on to get a draw in a bout that most felt Hopkins deserved to win, despite being twice dropped.

Eerily similar situations as I see them, the main difference being Hopkins was dropped early whereas Fury was dropped late. Both deserved the W in my opinion.

Not the same but Frampton was dropped twice by Gonzalez and won on points. Same round and he was the champion though.

Chacon was down in the third and tenth v Limon in the fourth fight and winning points, he was the challenger but did drop Limon in round fifteen.

Griffin (challenger) went down twice against RJJ, to win by DQ.
Benn (challenger) went down twice against McClellan, to win by KO.

For clear points wins while outboxing but getting dropped multiple times, see Wlad vs Peter I
