Lopez-Lomachenko could be an example because of all the KO threats and easy fight talk and Lomachenko ended up taking lots of rounds off. Lopez didn't break Lomachenko down mentally, but he definitely put some KO fears in his head.

Bad example. You are assuming Loma wasn’t legitimately hurt going into that fight. Also, Lopez is a much bigger guy yet he really failed to do any damage. Most of his shots were blocked. I still have him the fight due to Loma’s lack of activity in several rounds but a draw wouldn’t have been outrageous. To hear Lopez talk, he thinks he dominated. Watching the fight again didn’t reveal that to be the case. When Loma stepped on the gas, he was able to do some damage and land the cleaner punches. I would like to see these guys fight again because I think it will be a better fight. If Lopez doesn’t fight his soft mando and scurry up to 140.

Jeffries was a mental wreck just before the Johnson fight.
Clay/Ali destroyed h is opponents mentally, notably Floyd Patterson.
Mike Tyson frightened guys to death....check out his bouts with Bruce Seldon and Frank Bruno II.
Seldon actually just laid down to avoid getting hit. Bruno was hyperventilating during his ring walk.
