In the history of boxing, this is the first time that I can remember a fighter.....

I think guys should fight tune-ups more often, though in a champ's case it should be against a deserving guy, which Chisora isn't. Either that or make it 10 rounds non-title. This situation is puzzling and I really don't know which guy to criticize more. For the good of boxing, these two need to fight soon.

Just off the top of my head, Floyd Mayweather fought Angel Manfredy 9 weeks after he had just won the title from Genaro Hernandez in his 1998 Fighter of the Year. He fought a total of 7 times that year. So, being that the first fighter and most talked about fighter of our time kind of proves you wrong (I realize you said "EIGHT", but please don't make a deal of that...), I think it shows you'll support Haye no matter what. Despite him pussing out time and time and time and time and time and time again.

Ali did it in 1976, I guess only Ali is allowed to do things like that. :rofl

By taking a tune up there is a possibility that WALDO gets injured. Then, there won't be a Haye fight on the date they have agreed. It is a stupid move whn he could just fight Haye who they agreed terms with. He doesn't need Chisora.

Money, activity, tune-up, an available TV date, seems like reason enough for me.

You Haye fans act like this is the first tune-up in the history of boxing.:rofl

Not at all. But if something goes tits up in the between now and the Haye find I doubt many people will applaud the decision.

It's boxing. Haye went "tits up" last time that he made Wlad wait half a year for a fight between them. So, I guess Wlad should be just as worried as Haye.

Yep, Haye is bitching out again!!! Wlad can't trust Haye, and wait until July to fight him and then in June to hear from Haye that his wife is pregnant again or that he is injured an the fight is off!!! Haye is the biggest ***** in boxing and ufc and mma and sky jumping and any sport you want!!!

So going by your logic why the **** does he need a tuneup with a fighter who is shitter then all the other fighters he has dominated for the last seven years?

Are you saying Wlad's resume is weak and Haye is the best he will face? What a **** legacy.

When is the last time Wlad picked up a cut in a fight or took a fair beating? He hardly even get's hit and he's in against an over-matched opponent.

There's still as much chance as it happening in sparring given you're in the ring more often doing more rounds, and with the chane of headgear cutting possible aswell.

Wlad wants to pretty himself to get in the best shape possible. There's no way he wants to go into as people are billing it 'the biggest fight of his career' on the back of a 9 month lay-off where he was also injured.

Haye has nothing to lose by agreeing to the date. Worse comes to worst, they try and move the fight back or Haye reschedules another fight elsewhere.

Oh yeah, Wlad demanded everything. God Forbid that he should want to wear his own choice of gloves rather than Haye choose his gloves for him. God Forbid that he wants to enter second in his adopted-home country and as the true heavyweight champion. I guess you think Haye is being generous offering him 50/50 aswell, right?

"If the fight doesn’t happen now, it never will. I’m done with the Klitschkos. I know I can retire later this year with my head held high, knowing I did everything in my power to make these fights happen."

Sort of suggests that the fights-off and that Haye is backing out, doesn't it?

if you think i support haye your clearly not familiar with my posts.

i cant stand haye. i just call it as i see it.

and your not seriously suggesting fighting 7 times a year at the start of your career can be compared to fighting a tune up just 8 weeks before a mega fight

What the ****? He want's a tune-up because he's a first of all a professional who wants to honour the fact he gave Chisora a shot in the first place, and secondly because he obviously doesn't want to go into such a big fight on the back of a 9 month lay-off that included an injury.
