In the history of boxing, who do you favor over Hearns at 147 or 154?

Leonard wanted no part of Hearns in a rematch at Welter. He knew he pulled a rabbit out his ass.

Robinson would be interesting. Robinson would have sought to get inside and bang once he saw Hearns physical advantages. Robinson didnt try to be cute like Leonard.

As previously mentioned big punchers would have the best chance. Perhaps a Julian Jackson?

Hearns and Jackson were both devastating punchers with poor chins. Jackson always came out quickly and was at his most dangerous in the first 4 rounds or so. Hearns would also put people out of there early but he could box too.

Possible outcomes: Hearns mid-late KO after boxing safely. Hearns early KO or Jackson early KO.

I'd be surprised if this fight went the distance though

I didn't say Williams beats Hearns, I just mentioned it would be intreuging because they may be the two longest WW's ever.

Yes Kid Gavilian would be interesting.
147 SRR and SRL. Tommy was ahead
of Leonard after 12 though. SRR went
to war so many times and had the arsenal
and chin to survive Tommy and finish him.
I think Tommy at 147 beats De La Hoya
    after getting dropped.

It wouldn't be intriguing at all. Williams has no chance to do anything at all. He has nothing for Hearns. Period. That's not interesting. He can be 15 feet tall and it wouldn't be any more interesting. You are the weakest link, goodbye.
