The LSC fight is more interesting.

I wouldn't be surprised if Quigg loses before the fight happens.

He's a good fighter, but Framptons on another level imo.

 

That's assuming Quigg beats Martinez and Frampton beats LSC. Neither are a given.

Agreed though, if it plays out this way the fight would be massive.

 

You may think he has more boxing skill but more power? Quiggs never taken anyone out clean like a Martinez or Cazarez Frampton has a clear power advantage if they fight. I'd go so far to say that Frampton is the hardest hitting SBW at world level today massive puncher.

 

I'll agree that Frampton has the power advantage over Quigg, but he didn't " take Cazares out clean " he landed a decent shot on the temple, had it landed 2 inches lower it wouldn't have had the same effect. And Cazares was clear headed but screwed the count up, he was never anywhere near unconcious.
I think Quigg would surprise a lot of people in a fight against Frampton, he's a good technician and gets overlooked simply because he doesn't finish people the way Frampton has.

I don't understand all these threads with totally one sided opinions. If frampton has such great punching power why isn't he laying these guys out cold. What happened last night was so predictable it wasn't a matter of if he would get the k.o but when cazares was past it. You didn't find out anything about frampton last night that you didn't already know. It's like when he beat Molitor it means nothing he was finished. The only meaningful fight I've seen him in was Martinez who gave him a good fight and let's face it is no boxing genius. I'm not saying frampton isn't good, but these threads make him out to be god with little evidence. He needs opponents who are hungry and schooled then il be sold

 

Jury still out on both, let's see them in stiffer tests than the shite we've seen them fighting up to now.

 

The landscape at 122 is changing. Last night Carl seperated himself from the "chasing pack" (Kiko-Quigg-LSC) and has confirmed for me that he does indeed have that little bit extra - even over LSC.

He has IMO moved beyond even vying for second place with LSC (IMO -unproved until they actually fight, I know).

Carl for me is now vying for the No.1 spot at 122.

Carl now, for me, is a serious threat to Rigo.

Cheers LJ! I never worry too much about the "consensus" buddy. Not too lon ago (relatively speaking) the consensus was that the earth was flat!

Rigo has apparently upped the ante now - and is offering to come to Belfast to fight Carl.
Team Carl may be faced with a choice of Rigo in Belfast or LSC in Vegas.
