Great position for Framps to be in though, Murph - he could end up being the only contender in boxing that the champions are courting for a fight!!

They might be competing to fight him!

I would still aim for LSC preferably though.
Ideally Rigo can wait for now, unless LSC is totally impossible to do business with and Rigo is easy to deal with...:huh Who knows?

 

True i actually cant think of any other division where all the champions except Martinez are actually looking to fight the number 1 and most dangerous contender

Irish boxing is becoming big again and Carl Frampton is a great figure head to have for all Irish boxers to aspire to.

People forget Rigo is nearly 34 years old, for a boxer with his style that relies so much on speed, reflexes and timing, that's getting on a bit and i think Carl should just sit back and wait till the end 2015 before he fights Rigo who will be 35 by then.

For now, he should target LSC for his next fight and if he wins, make a few defences in Ireland as he'll become a mega star there.

I was actually impressed by some of the Irish boxers on the undercard and hopefully they can get John Joe Nevin on some undercards too for Framptons future fights.

What - on paper - looked a very unappealing undercard turned out not to be the case.
All the lads looked like well-prepared, well-schooled,
proper pros. I liked the way they went about their work. Solid boxers all of em.

 

Hmmm......Frampton is definitely more powerful than Quigg in my mind. I'd like to see both succeed however. I don't see anyone seriously worrying Rigo though....only one way to find out though. Nice little 'sort-of fab-4' at the top of Bweight right now, hope they all stay fit and fight each other.

What weight could frampton eventually move up to? Hopin the quigg fight does actually happen and dont end up a mayweather/pacman like scenario

 

The team hope for him to win titles at 122 and 126 at least.

As far as 126 is deffo feasible IMO.
One limiting factor will be his lack of height, though.

Once Frampton picks up a strap, of which it is only a matter of time, him and Frampton MUST happen.

They've both openly said they want it, so the promotional/TV side of things best not balls the whole thing up.

 

Anyone remember the ringside episode about 2 or so years back... it was Quigg, Munroe and Barry Mcguigan as the guests.

At the time Quigg and Munroe were considered the two top dogs in the UK with Frampton underneath them, Mcguigan was really fighting Framptons corner and he was basically being laughed at as some silly old man.... well since then Frampton has really backed Mcguigan up that's for sure!
