In the aftermath of Tyson Fury's emphatic win over Derek Chisora ,does anyone still believe Chisora was a credible opponent for Wlad?

    No.

Wlad should instead wait until Perez, who has a similar style, is ranked & ready to fight him.

It was a very entertaining fight, but Wlad cannot fight the loser.

I had Fury winning 118-110, Wlad cannot justify fighting Chisora now.

I would not have seen Chisora as a credible opponent even if he had won that fight. At the same time, I would not have been offended if Wlad had taken him as a keep busy fight, in view of his high level of competition recently.

Now I am prety sure the fight is dead in the water.

No, but Fury might be a few months from now. Chisora was a poor man's Brewster. Chisora can take a punch and hit hard, but his conditoing, heart, and skills were lacking.

Chisora was overweight for the Fury fight and, lacks real power,as does Fury himself.

I don't think Fury is much of a puncher at top level, and he is open to counters when he misses, 6 months to a year in a US gym might work wonders for him. I would broadly agree with your assessment though.

Chisora is a poor man's Peter, not a poor man's Brewster.

I was literally screaming at the tv for Fury to get his hands up, Chisora was throwing bombs, during the second round, i thought it was all over.

Fury did show lots of ring intelligence.

He needs to work on defence and footworkand handspeed, hell be ok

I always thought Chisora was a very strange choice for Wlad, I don't think he would have lasted 5 rounds.

Seems strange him coming in so heavy too, is his heart really in it?
