....Victor says that his Mother abandoned him and his brother when he was only 7 years old . However, his Mother actually went with him and the rest of the P.A.L. Boxing Club to a boxing tournamant to St. Louis when Victor was 10.

I thought at age 8, Ortiz and his brother were wandering the streets like stay dogs with no shoes; eating out of garbage cans and drinking out of puddles.

Ortiz also says that at the age of 9 he knew he would one day meet and beat Mayweather. That would have been approximately 15 years ago which would have made Mayweather 19. Mayweather was a basically unknown fighter at age 19. How or why would Ortiz at the age of 9 even know Mayweather, let alone decide he would one day beat him?

You see, the answer I would have for that would be......Victor, at the age of 9, probably saw Mayweather at the Olympics, and knew he would one day fight him.

But then he goes on to say he wasn't impressed by him and that he was a cherry-picker? :huh

Sorry, Victor. I don't see how that could be possible.

He was clearly full of **** when he said he wanted to fight mayweather since he was 9... Im sure someone told him to say that! At the end of the day he seems like a nice kid.. I hope he gives mayweather hell, If not he could always fight again and beat the **** out of someone like say Brandon rios!!:rofl :yep
