I'm approaching the Fulton fight. I am in no hurry to finish it. Want to absorb it fully. Excellent so far.

Do you think Adam's abilities are evolving/improving? Certainly this effort is trying to give more societal context, which I am certain is leading to something in the Vol. 2. The only one I have not read is the Corbett book.

I think he is getting more rounded as a biographer.Ive yet to get Corbett, Hart,or Burns, but my birthday is next month 21st, same day as Tua's so maybe one of the other books might surface?

Whoops. I've not read Burns either. Didn't he do a second Sullivan book? I never even saw it.

The second Sullivan was a more fleshed hard cover of the first .. I have both ..

The formula is smoother but to me they have all been terrific .. it becomes a matter of the fighters and how much interest they hold .. the Dempsey book is fantastic and like you I am savoring it , grabbing it in little bites as such a classic I don't want t blow through it but reread his books time and gain anyway.

Why are you reading about a guy who only fought "cowboys"? Luckily they weren't "undersized pipefitters and stevedores". Not THAT's crazy.

Yeah yeah. Hit him w his own words. Seamus does nothing but drag Dempsey's name thru the mud in the worst way every time. A liar. And a hypocrit. Go back to your cave w Klompy Seamus.

    **** you, moron.

If you have counters to the factual arguments I present, let's see them.

By the by, do you think that Dempsey threw the Flynn fight?

No he doesn't; go into much detail of the fighters social life and things like that in my opinion. I knew who Adam was before you joined this forum as a student lawyer back in the day when CBZ was operating. I also know stuff you don't which is when he had his wife in boxing with a bad result.

What's new in this book, that's what I want to know. I might buy it if there is uncovered ground.

How many of his books have you read to make a judgement of them?
Your comment was"he isnt known for much outside the ring".
CBZ is still on line .Adam has been a qualified attorney for 22 years .

I correspond with Adam from time to time. You have no idea how long I've been aware of him.
