I'll give froch credit for beating Pascal back in 08 but other then that 1 win on his record which legitamate 168lb fighters did he beat, he was getting outclassed by dirrell for most the fight and never won any clear rounds, he was beaten by mikkle kessler a guy who was past his prime, he beat arthur abraham who himself was a no mark at 168 and he beat and old ass glenn johnson. I think froch gets a little overrated especially when you look at things in perspective, i'm not calling him a fraud or a fake champion he just isnt all that people claim him to be, and if he were to fight bute i'd heavily favour bute to stop him. he has had a decent run and has some good wins on his record but thats about it.

So, on that note Ward hasn't done **** and has no further
reason to keep ducking Lucian Bute. Thanks for making this
    post and offering some clarity.

Don't blame him. He fought whoever was in the tournament.

He fought whoever was in his path...

Pascal is a very good win
Jermain Taylor is also a good win, first title defense, in the USA
    He beat Andre Dirrell
Very close fight with Kessler, in Denmark; Froch had no trouble travling.
Beat Abraham, Abraham was still confident as this point, Froch took his soul.
Beat Glen Johnson, Bigger guy who was coming off an impressive KO win.

Froch then fell at the last hurdle against Ward who is proving himself to be special, no shame there.

Froch has done plenty, stop hating.

i'm not calling froch a **** fighter, hes a worldclass fighter. and as for ward, he had way more success he outclassed and torpedoed everyone who was pitched against him, he falls short of greatness due to that fake ass ***** andre dirrell. all i'm saying if you look at froches record in perspective he has a questionable win over dirrell and his win over gllenn johnson and abraham is nothing amazing. there Ok wins against guys who were not top fighters at 168. compare and contrast that to wins against bika, green, kessler, froch.

With so many threads claiming otherwise it was good of you to create this one and put all the 100's of posters who said Froch beat great opposition in their place.

I think you miss the point about Froch, the fact he has balls of steel wanting to fight the best, nobody claimed he was beating greats.

On your score card or the ones that matter? Froch won, he was the champion, with a home town advantage and Dirrell as the challenger didn't do enough to take the title from the Champion. If Froch went to Detroit and fought like that I'd have no quarrel with him losing.

The Kessler fight was a close but clear win for Kessler, that's the general concensus.

Glen Johnson was coming off of his best performance in years.

Arthur Abraham became favourite to win the S6 following his KO of Jermain Taylor and Kessler's loss to Ward who at the time was an emerging Dark Horse. Abraham then had a fight with Dirrell, where he was getting beat, but was beggining to get close to Andre. His confidence was not knocked by the controversial ending.

The boldened part of your post contradicts your entire post iron
senseless. Bika? Who at the top level hasn't beaten bika. Green?
He's a clubfighter from oklahoma... oklahoma dude. Kessler? Not a good
win for Ward, it's still mared with controversey, and froch fought him
in Denmark in a classic. We don't know how ward would've faired
against kessler on kessler turf. Froch, weren't we talking about him?

Your post is full of holes bro
